You are a refugee you've made the difficult journey from the Prime Roots to the camp outside the Ruins of Silan, where you can learn how to fight, use magic, craft goods, and harvest raw materials from a representative of each race before you go to the mainland. The races maintain an uneasy peace and trade relations, which is not helped by the fact that every race figures every other race are all idiots, but the Kitins are back and everyone is basically screwed if we don't all work together. Neither group likes the other much.Īfter two years of fighting, the Karavan and the Kamis cleared out the surface world, allowing the Homins to retake it so now the proud warrior Fyros live in the desert, the regal and expansionist Matis live in the forest, the happy-go-lucky Trykers live on the Lakes, and the mysterious, blue, masked Zoraï live in the jungle. Not much is known about either of these latter groups, except that the Karavan worship Jena and have some really cool technology (including teleportation and resurrection), the Kamis worship Ma-Duk, have yetis as bodyguards, and are resistant to almost all forms of Karavan technology. Also possibly worth mentioning this was all on Isle of Giants/at Oondasta, in case this is a boss/zone-specific issue, and Cyclic timers are on (but none of the timers that failed to send had cycled).Some 40 years ago, a nest of giant insects (collectively known as Kitins) was discovered, triggering a massive invasion of the Atysian surface, and forcing the four races to seek shelter in the Prime Roots, under the protection of the Karavan and the Kamis.

Turning the Multi-realm+Warmode option back off (and having reloaded my UI after doing so just to be safe), I can share a timer created on a different character but on the same realm/shard as expected.

I can't pin down the exact amount of time, but it was 5-7 minutes of being offline (killed Oondasta, successfully shared the timer, logged out+immediately back in, successfully shared the timer, logged out+switched characters, was unable to share the timer, started typing this up and swapped back to verify that the first character could still share and she couldn't anymore with 7:30 left on her realm's timer, heh.) With the (new? new-ish? new to me) Mutli-realm + Warmode toggle turned on, I am unable to share timers except on the character they were created on trying to share on a different character (that's on the same realm, in the same guild, and can see the same other characters as the original character could-so in theory the same shard) prints "WBT: : No timer found for current location and shard ID." in chat.Īctually, it looks like if I log off the original character for a certain period of time, that character can no longer share the timer either (it prints the same message at that point). Requesting with the "Req." button no longer causes automatic sharing. Since 8.2.5, you must manually share the timer.
